Intermediate cabinet circuit breaker transfer handcart
Whether it is a medium voltage mid mounted cabinet, a double-layer cabinet, or a high current low-voltage switchgear, the circuit breaker needs to be taken out of the cabinet during maintenance, and the circuit breaker handcart and switch cabinet circuit breaker compartment need to be inspected, lubricated, and maintained separately.
The standard central cabinet adopts a height adjustable transfer handcart, which is lightweight, easy to operate and flexible. It is more suitable for lightweight small current circuit breakers.
When operating, push the transfer trolley to the front of the cabinet and rotate the lower wheel of the transfer trolley tray according to the height of the circuit breaker compartment, so that the height can be adjusted up and down to make the tray level with the guide rail or slightly lower than the guide rail. Note that all four wheels need to be adjusted simultaneously to ensure that the height of the four corners of the trailer is consistent and avoid tilting. Insert the front hook plate of the transfer vehicle into the lower partition of the circuit breaker compartment of the switch cabinet and lock it, then the circuit breaker can be pulled out of the switch cabinet and locked in the groove at the rear of the transfer vehicle to be fixed. The hook plate can be unlocked and the circuit breaker can be transported away.

Due to its relatively thin structure, it is often difficult to operate circuit breakers with high current and weight, and improper operation may even pose a risk of tipping over. Due to the installation base of the switchgear being too high on site and inadequate design considerations, the trailer of the transfer vehicle needs to be adjusted very high, requiring a large length of the screw rod. Lifting the trailer can cause unstable shaking, especially when pushing heavy circuit breakers, which is very dangerous.
Therefore, during engineering design, it is necessary to fully communicate whether there is a base for installing the switchgear on site, in order to determine the height of the transport vehicle, rather than relying solely on screw adjustment. Although some claim to be able to adjust 200mm, excessive adjustment can be very dangerous during transport.
In some special application scenarios, such as ships, ocean platforms, and other shaking situations, ordinary transfer vehicles are difficult to apply, unstable, and difficult to adjust the height. The platform of the Brazilian oil company once had a common transport vehicle that broke down after one year of use. We purchased a hydraulic lifting transport handcart that is more sturdy and easier to adjust in height.
Some transfer vehicles have adjustable widths, and one transfer handcart is suitable for 800/1000mm wide switchgear. This type of tray requires two side guide rails to be adjusted and fixed according to the width of the switchgear. Not very reliable and stable. Moreover, the use of small width circuit breakers may also cause interference with cabinet doors or adjacent cabinets, which is limited by the environment and makes it impossible for handcarts to approach.
There is also a need to detect the circuit breaker on the transfer vehicle, that is, to measure the opening and closing speed, which requires opening holes in the transfer vehicle tray for sensor installation.
For double-layer circuit breaker switchgear, it is generally necessary to lift and transfer the handcart, which can be lowered to near the ground for the transfer of the lower compartment handcart, or raised to 1.8 meters for the pull-out transfer of the upper voltage transformer handcart. After being pulled out of the container and fixed on the pallet, it can be lowered to a position close to the ground for safe transportation.
The American standard multi-layer low-voltage switchgear is equipped with a lifting device on the top of the cabinet, which can move left and right. It is used to lift and lower the corresponding switchgear circuit breaker to the ground for easy access and extraction.
Domestic low-voltage switchgear generally does not come with a spare cabinet top lifting device, which requires manual or crane operation. Therefore, a lifting and transfer handcart can also be used. Hydraulic lifting handcarts have a risk of oil leakage when used for a long time, and are operated with labor-saving handles, self-locking positions, and fall prevention.
For the convenience of operation, it is also equipped with a top lifting device to facilitate the extraction and fixation of the frame circuit breaker.
The same transfer handcart can be used for both medium voltage double-layer circuit breaker switchgear and low voltage switchgear circuit breaker extraction and maintenance, saving space and being sturdy and durable.
